In this online performance, Avatar willimannarai reflects on the notion of the „Self“ in the work of Willimann/Arai and on her own existence as a being without a „Self". She invites the audience to join her investigation on the "Self" as a concept in the Western tradition of thought that has spread in recent centuries to territories beyond its origins. But what exactly are we referring to when we talk about the „Self", about our „selves“? Does the "Self" exist beyond its relationship to its counterpart, the „other“? Where is it located in the body? What happens when we lose it?
